Then spend 5 minutes immediately afterwards completing the action items.

Day One

Reflection Exercise: What is most meaningful/impactful for you from Day 1?

Day 1 Actions: Give ourselves a break!

  1. Write down what is great about us and our parenting and what is great about our children
  2. For the next 48 hours, actively stop 'shoulding' on ourselves. Notice how many times the story comes up about how we've done it wrong/blaming ourselves - and drop the story.


                                                  DAY 3


Watch this 19-minute video.

Then spend 5 minutes immediately afterwards completing the action items.

(Total time commitment = 25 mins)

Day Three

Reflection Exercise: Reflect on the Parent ‘LEADERSHIP’ framework that was presented in the video.


Day 3 Actions:  

Pick 3 (or more) of the 10  elements in this Leadership Framework that most speak to you.

Write one sentence about how you can start to implement each one in your specific relationship with your teen and in your particular family circumstance.

Watch this 1 hour and 11 minute video.

Complete the reflection exercises when you are invited to, during the video.

Total time commitment = 1 hour and 11 mins

Day Five

Reflection Exercise: Continue to follow through on your LEADERSHIP steps from Day 3. What’s the one non-negotiable step…? We'd love to know when you’ve taken it!
